L’associazione AssoPacePalestina pubblica un filmato che riporta la drammatica esperienza di un agricoltore palestinese:

In the village of al-Jab'ah, in the district of Hebron, a 69-year-old Palestinian farmer, Khaled Masha'lah, denounced the felling of about 300 olive trees on his land by Israeli settlers. The trees, planted 20 years ago, were the main source of income for his family. After years of work and care, Khaled had expected a good harvest, but a few days before the harvest began, he discovered the devastation. Among the felled trees, some were over 100 years old. The man immediately contacted the Israeli police, who documented the damage, but Khaled suspects that the perpetrators are settlers from the nearby settlement of Bat Ayin. The devastating episode left Khaled discouraged, as his advanced age makes it difficult to start over.
